Madoka Magica x Steven Universe Finished

I'm so glad to be finished with this, and that it turned out so nice! I'm going to spend all day tomorrow showing it to people while crying tbh
I had so much trouble with the SU style and you can really tell with how awkward pearl looks... But, I stuck to the official images so thats not all my fault.
My thought process went as Steven and Rose as the Madokas due to Rose Quartz's outfit similarities with Goddess Madokas. Then, I thought of the similarities between Mami and Pearl. They both have similar personalities with wanting to be mentors and then showing weakness toward the "madoka" figure that ends up being shown as strength. They also have similar dance styles and have gems on their heads. Lapis was set as Sayaka because of their relationship with water and due to their sad endings (although lapis isn't 100% gone). Amethyst and Garnet were the only ones left and although Amethyst would've made more sense as Kyoko, I'm planning on coloring this and I felt the colors between the two would clash too much. And as sensei-sketch pointed out to me, Kyoko is violent and always comes through in the end like Garnet and Amethyst is seen as a troublesome character just like Homura.

Someone who isn't on DA was telling some of my other friends that they didn't like it because they "just don't like it when people take characters and draw them as other characters to be cool there's like no originality there" so fav or comment to prove them wrong
